This reality, then, leads to the changes of Indonesian curriculum which consequently shows that Indonesian education ideology is inconsistent. Actually, without following the western education ideology, Muslim practitioners in Indonesia should be able to maintain and use their own education ideology, namely Islamic education ideology. Because of its universal and transcendental characteristic, Islamic education ideology can give the newest and up-to-date format for the era development. This paper describes the concept of each ideology and their meeting points. The research method used in this study is library research method, and the data was analyzed by using content analysis method. The reserch result shows that the meeting points of those ideologies are divided into four concepts. First, the objective of education is to optimize the human resource. Second, the concept of human being is that human is the most noble and creative creation. Third, the education curriculum should be applicable. Forth, it is better to use guidance and counseling method in guiding students in solving their problems. Pendidikan dalam perjalanan sejarahnya marak dengan berbagai macam ideology yang kemungkinan menyebabkan para praktisi pendidikan sering merubah kurikulum dan model pembelajarannya. Realitas ini melekat pada fenomena perubahan kurikulum di Indonesia yang mencerminkan bahwa ideologi pendidikan yang dianut Indonesia tidak konsisten. Sebenarnya tanpa harus mengikuti format ideologi pendidikan barat, sebagai praktisi Muslim  seharusnya bisa mempertahankan dan memilih ideologinya sendiri, karena ideologi pendidikan Islam dengan sifatnya yang universal dan transedental dapat memberikan format yang selalu up to date untuk perkembangan zaman. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan tentang konsep dari masing-masing ideologi dan mencari titik temunya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif library research dengan metode analisa conten analisyis. Titik temunya dibagi menjadi empat konsep: Pertama tujuan pendidikan memiliki muara akhir yaitu pada nilai-nilai ketuhanan serta mengoptimalkan potensi yang ada pada manusia, kedua konsep manusia diperoleh titik temu bahwa manusia adalah makhluk yang paling mulia, dapat berfikir, kreatif, dan bermoral, ketiga dalam hal kurikulum pendidikan titik temunya adalah kurikulum yang bersifat aplikatif, keempat metode yang digunakan dalam membimbing peserta didik memiliki masalah pada bimbingan dan penyuluhan yang saat ini dikenal dengan istilah bimbingan konseling.
